New St. John of God Website

We’re excited to share that our parish has launched a new website! For the most up-to-date information, parish and Mass information, and resources, please visit our new site at stjohnofgod-sf.org. While the new website is still being updated and enhanced with additional content, all the essential information is already available. One of the new features is an improved way to give—whether one-time, monthly, or yearly. This will be in addition to our current Vanco giving platform, which remains active. Parishioners will be notified in advance before any changes are made to the Vanco system. This current website will no longer be updated, so be sure to bookmark the new page and stay connected—there are many exciting updates still to come!

Laudato si

(Pope Francis' Encyclical on the Environment)
“LAUDATO SI’, mi’ Signore” – “Praise be to you, my Lord”. In the words of this beautiful canticle, Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us. click here to read the full encyclical.

THE ST. JOHN OF GOD PRAYER
(Rev. Thomas L. Seagrave)
Dear God, through the intercession of St John of God, patron of the poor and the sick, grant me the grace this day to greet every person that I meet with understanding and compassion. Reveal to me their needs and give me the means and inspire in my heart the humility and generosity of St. John so that I might be to them a revelation of Christ’s love. Amen.
